EMSTIGHT EMS Forehead Patches are a cosmetic beauty device for the brow: a compact host unit that clips onto a single wide hydrogel patch and is controlled from a small remote, for a fifteen-minute session at the intensity you choose.
How the ritual works
Cleanse. Position the wide hydrogel patch across the forehead, above the brow line, and smooth it against the skin — no water, serum or gel is needed, because the patch is self-adhesive and conductive. Clip the host unit onto the patch, then set the mode and intensity from the remote control. The session ends on its own after fifteen minutes.
One piece, not a pair
The forehead is the only area in the EMSTIGHT range covered by a single wide patch rather than a handed pair. It spans the brow in one placement, so there is nothing to line up left and right and nothing to balance — you position it once, clip the host on and leave it. That is also why this box contains one patch where the eye and cheek products contain two.
Keep it on the forehead itself, above the brow. It does not go on the eyelids, on the temples over the hairline, or anywhere the hydrogel cannot make full contact with clean skin.

When the patch wears out
The host unit and remote are reusable and recharge over USB. The hydrogel patch is the consumable part — it loses its grip and its conductivity together, and how long it lasts depends mostly on how clean and dry the skin is when you apply it. The forehead is the easiest area to prepare properly, which is in its favour. A replacement forehead patch is sold separately at £19, again as a single wide piece, so the device keeps working long after the first patch is spent.
Use and suitability
Prepare, place and operate the product exactly as described in the instructions supplied with the device, and review all precautions before first use.
Not suitable for anyone under 15. Those over 15 should use it under the supervision of a parent.
Do not use this device at all if you have a pacemaker, defibrillator or any other implanted electronic medical device, an artificial heart or lung, or if you wear a medical electronic instrument such as an ECG monitor or heart-rate regulator.
Speak to your doctor before using it if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a heart condition, abnormal blood pressure, a cranial nerve abnormality, epilepsy, a malignant tumour, an infectious or acute illness, abnormal bleeding, sensory nerve loss, cognitive impairment, reduced sensation caused by diabetic circulatory problems, a skin disease or skin infection, a known allergy to electrode pads, metal implants in the treatment area, or if you are taking medication or have a temperature above 38°C.
Where the patch goes. Use it only on the areas shown in the supplied instructions. Never place a patch on the eye or eyelid, on the lips or inside the mouth, on any mucous membrane, on the front of the throat, directly over the heart, on broken, irritated or sunburned skin, or on a site where you have had plastic surgery. Avoid skin treated for hair removal the same day.
Clean and dry the skin first, then press the patch down so the whole surface is in contact — an air gap concentrates the current in one place and can sting. Do not use while intoxicated or while feeling unwell. Stop immediately if you feel discomfort or the skin becomes red or itchy. The device does not run while it is charging.
